Cointreau is the iconic orange liqueur at the heart of more than 500 of the world’s most celebrated cocktails, including The Original Margarita, The Cosmopolitan, and The Sidecar.
Cointreau was invented by Edouard Cointreau in Angers, France, by combining crystal clear purity with the perfect harmony of sweet and bitter orange peels. The recipe remains unchanged since its invention, using only natural ingredients and traditional distillation methods. Cointreau is at the heart of thousands of cocktails. Since the 1910s, Cointreau has always been chosen by bartenders in their original cocktail creations.
