This is great and really good for you. However, there are some bad habits that you will have all picked up along the way which you now don’t even realize you’re doing. They are part of your routine, part of you and part of your life, and because of this, these little everyday habits could be harming your health without you even realizing. Stop Snoozing
Some people not only hit the snooze button regularly but even set their alarm early so that they have time to snooze before they have to get up. However, that little snooze that so many people enjoy is harmful to your health, it is very poor quality sleep and will confuse your body. It’s essential to get into a solid morning routine, which will keep your body’s natural circadian rhythm healthy and may even help you to feel more well-rested and vibrant throughout the day.
Quit Smoking
This is a habit we all know is bad for you, but if you’ve switched to vaping because you think this is better, you may be wrong. It might feel great at first as it can give you a boost in energy, but as quickly as it does that, it can bring you right back down again and can mess with your blood sugar. Instead of drinking fruit juice, eat some whole fruits because that way you also get the fiber from the fruit which slows down your absorption of sugar.
Stop Chewing Gum
If you’re always after that fresh minty taste in your mouth and are conscious about your breath then chewing gum can seem like the ideal solution. However, it can also cause you to feel gassy and burpy throughout the day because of the sweeteners in sugar-free gum such as xylitol and sorbitol. As well as this, the act of chewing gum itself can also contribute to gassiness because you’re taking in a lot of excess air.
