In addition to the curated sips and serves we previously provided, there are a couple more sweet treats to make your festivities fabulous. From a delicious dessert idea, courtesy of Chef Einav Gefen at Restaurant Associates to the Red White and Blue Shake available at Black Tap‘s Midtown, Soho, Vegas, and Anaheim locations.
Regardless of if you prefer celebrating at home or grabbing a sweet treat in the city, there’s an option for everyone.

- TIP 1: Pick a big bowl or container that can show off the dessert layers
- TIP 2: Grill your favorite fruit to caramelize their natural sugars (Einav suggests plum or peach)
- TIP 3: Choose a cream-based layer like ice cream, whipped cream, or even yogurt
- TIP 4: Drizzle a syrup-like Silan, honey, or Pomegranate Molasses
- TIP 5: Finish it off with a crunch (nuts, oats, or cereal are always a hit)
What Makes It Perfect for 4th Celebrations: The combination of textures creates a palate-pleasing end to any summer celebration. Although the dish is quick and easy to put together, it’s still a show stopper with beautiful layers and can fit into any diet with alterations. Einav even notes grabbing some additions from the store to up the experience; meringue cookies or lemon curd add additional flavors that help tie the trifle together.
