We are sharing the boozy brunch recipes below that are sure to make the next gathering one that you’ll remember.
Charred Passion Fruit & Jalapeno Margarita
There is nothing better than a perfectly balanced spicy margarita and the Charred Passion Fruit & Jalapeno Margarita has just the right amount of sweet and spicy, combined with a hint of smoke and tartness from the passionfruit. But do not forget about the tequila! Santo Mezquila is the world’s first and only blend of tequila and mezcal. It combines the smooth, subtle flavors of agave with unique smokiness, bringing forth a taste revelation. The palate explodes with mouth-filling richness nestled in a light, smoky-sweet finish.
- 2 oz Santo Mezquila
- 1 oz Fresh Passion Fruit Juice
- ¾ oz Charred Jalapeño Simple Syrup*
- ½ oz Cointreau
- ¾ oz Lime Juice
- Salt
- Ice
- Garnish: Charred Jalapeño | Lime Wheel
Instructions: In a cocktail shaker with ice add Mezquila, passion fruit juice, syrup, cointreau, and lime juice. Shake for 30 seconds. Rim glass with salt. Strain into glass filled with ice and garnish.
*Charred Jalapeño Simple Syrup
- 2 Jalapeño Peppers
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
Instructions: Heat dry cast iron on medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, place the jalapeños in the cast iron. Rotate occasionally to char and blister on all sides. Let cool and cut into slices. Add sugar, water, and jalapeño slices to a saucepan over medium-high heat and bring water to a boil. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 3 minutes and remove from heat and let steep for 15-20 minutes.
Cucumber Cooler

The light but bold cocktail is the perfect cool down cocktail for the hot summer days ahead and is easy to make with 5 simple ingredients. It also features Santo Tequila’s newest and most popular expression, Santo Reposado.
- 2 oz Santo Reposado
- ½ oz Cucumber Simple Syrup*
- ½ oz Elderflower Liqueur
- ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 Fresh Mint Sprig
- Ice
- Garnish: Fresh Mint Sprig | Cucumber Slices
Instructions: In a cocktail shaker with ice add tequila, syrup, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and mint sprig. Shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice and garnish.
*Cucumber Simple Syrup:
Instructions: In a saucepan on medium heat add 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cucumber sliced. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar has dissolved. Bring to a simmer for 3 minutes. Take off heat and allow it to steep for 15-20 minutes.
