Mezcal Mule Pitcher – Photo Credit: Issy Croker
This Mule has a kick! Combining the earthy spice of Fever-Tree Ginger Beer with the deep, smoky depths of Del Maguey Mezcal, this is a cocktail that unleashes the full fruity, nutty flavor of the Mexican spirit. We’ve finished it off with fresh, sharp lime to create a party in a pitcher.
Ingredients:
- 7 oz Del Maguey Mezcal
- 28 oz Fever-Tree Ginger Beer
- 2 limes, halved, plus extra lime wedges, to garnish
Fill a pitcher three-quarters full with ice cubes. Pour over the mezcal. Squeeze over the lime halves, the drop them into the pitcher. Top off with the ginger beer. To serve, pour into old-fashioned glasses filled with ice cubes and garnish each one with a lime wedge.
TIP: Add a few chili slices to the pitcher for an even mightier kick to this mule.
Paloma with a Twist – Photo Credit: Issy Croker
Created in the Mexican town of Tequila, this classic cocktail is a tangy Mexican masterpiece. For a twist, add Campari and agave syrup. It sounds like it should be spicy. But the savory sea salt and fresh grapefruit, mixed with Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit, give it a gentle finish.
Ingredients:
- 1¼ oz Patrón Tequila
- 6.8 oz Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit
- 2 teaspoons Campari
- 1 teaspoon agave syrup
- 2 lime wedges
- Sea salt
- Pink grapefruit wedge, to garnish
Frost the rim of a highball glass with the salt. Pour the tequila, Campari and agave syrup into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice cubes. Squeeze over and then drop in the lime wedges. Shake for 15 seconds. Fill your prepared glass with a few more ice cubes, then pour the contents of the shaker into the glass. Top off with the tonic water. Garnish with a wedge of pink grapefruit.
