Although the official recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month may be coming to an end, let’s celebrate with a few delicious cocktails from Corralejo Tequila and Los Arango Tequila!
Corralejo Tequila is produced at the Hacienda Corralejo, located in Guanajuato, Mexico, the birthplace of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costillo. He is renowned for launching the Mexican War of Independence when he courageously called upon his people to revolt against the country’s oppressive rulers on September 16, 1810, which is now celebrated as Mexican Independence Day. Although Mexico achieved its freedom in 1821, Hidalgo is memorialized as the Father of his Country and Mexican Independence. Hacienda Corralejo was one of the first estates in Mexico to produce tequila as a commercial venture in 1755 and remains among a few distilleries granted the right to craft tequila outside of Jalisco. Today, Corralejo crafts authentic, premium tequila with the confidence of 250 years of experience in tequila-making traditions. Made from only the finest agave, Corralejo Tequila’s flavor is rich, natural, and unsurpassed in quality and personality. Its line of authentic bottlings includes Corralejo Silver ($30), Corralejo Reposado ($34), Corralejo Añejo ($40) and Corralejo 1821 Extra Añejo ($129.99).

Originally crafted to honor Jose Doroteo Arango, better known as Pancho Villa, for defending his people against the tyrants in the Mexican Revolution, Los Arango was born in his family name. Today, we continue to honor this triumphant moment in Mexican history throughout every batch of Los Arango Tequila. It is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, harvested just steps away from the Hacienda Corralejo where it’s fired in clay ovens and fermented with a specialty yeast strain. It’s then double distilled, bottled in blown glass, and hand-finished with premium leather, metal, and wood accents all onsite at the Hacienda. Los Arango’s line of authentic offerings includes Blanco ($45.99), Reposado ($50), and Ańejo ($62). Los Arango Tequila Blanco won a Double Gold Medal at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
