Holiday parties are fun but the key to keeping the fun going for more than just a couple of hours is to ensure that your guests are happy and entertained and adult beverage usually help a bit in that area! The cocktail recipes below certainly make a holiday theme statement with names such as Senor Gingerbread, Holy Nighcap, Campfire, Mexican Eggnog and Caribbean Gingersnap with the ingredients being unique as well. Imagine a cocktail that includes a scoop of chocolate ice cream ~ one that is meant for adults ~ and you’ll know exactly what I mean. Unique, festive and delicious! Campfire

1 part Maker’s 46® Bourbon
1 part Averna Amaro
1 part Stumptown Indo
pinch of Maldon Salt
pinch of chili powder
In a shaker, add all ingredients, add ice, and shake vigorously. Pour entire contents into an Old Fashioned glass. Add lemon zest, discard lemon peel. Add chocolate bitters to top of frothy cocktail. Garnish with marshmallows.
Caribbean Ginger Snap

2 parts Sugar Island Spiced Rum
½ part Lime juice
½ part Ginger liqueur
Apple Cider, to fill
Rosemary sprig as garnish
Add all ingredients into a shaking tin. Dry shake for 5 seconds. Fill the Collins glass with ice and top ¾ the way with Apple Cider. Float the remaining ingredients from the shaker over top. Quickly light rosemary sprig for garnish and place on top of cocktail.
Mexican Eggnog

‘Rompope’, a type of eggnog, is enjoyed throughout the entire country of Mexico. This recipe takes a twist on the classic traditional drink.
1 part Tres Agaves Reposado
¾ parts Heavy Cream
1 part Coffee Liquor (such as Kahlua)
½ part Giffard Crème de Cacao
1 Egg Yolk
Add all ingredients in the shaker and dry shake (without ice); then add ice and shake, then strain into rocks glass.
Señor Gingerbread

Inspired by gingerbread cookies!
1 ½ parts Tres Agaves Blanco Tequila
¼ part ginger liqueur
1 part Baileys Vanilla Cinnamon Liqueur
Mix all ingredients over ice in a shaker. Shake and strain in a tall slim glass and top with dusted cinnamon or stick; accompany with a gingerbread man.
Holy Nightcap
1 ½ parts Amarula Cream Liqueur
1 part vodka
1 tsp cocoa powder
1 scoop of chocolate ice cream
Whipped cream
Blend all the ingredients together in a blender with crushed ice. Add the whipped cream on top. Optional garnish: chocolate shavings.
