Do you love iced coffee but dread paying the price for your craving at gourmet coffee shops?
Let’s face it, if you are a coffee drinker then it doesn’t matter if the weather is hot or cold, you need your caffeine and why pay expensive prices when you can make your favorite beverage at home! One may think that you can simply pour a cup of coffee in a cup and add ice for great iced coffee, but that’s clearly not the case. To do that would only result in watered down and bitter cold coffee. Not at all the refreshing drink that you really want in your cup. After many attempts at making the ideal iced coffee, I finally came up with one that works for me and tastes delicious using Community Coffee. Yes, I’ve tried other brands, but always come back to what works best and that is Community Coffee.
Easy Iced Coffee
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sugar

Directions for Simple Syrup:
- Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Allow to cool and stir in vanilla extract.
Directions for Iced Coffee:
- Pour coffee in a glass. Add coffee ice cubes, simple syrup (to taste) and half and half. Liquid creamer can also be added if desired.
